PhD, Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Jose Antonio Tornero, graduate in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Co-founder of Cebiotex and Chief Technology Officer. He is also the Head of the Systems and Processes lab of the Textile Research and Industrial Cooperation Institute of Terrassa – UPC.
Since 2005 he has been leading and working in research projects and in the development of production systems for advanced fibrous materials, with a special focus in the technology of electrospinning applied in drug release, research from which he holds several scientific publications and patents.
